Somewhere in the Mountains

Not much to add. Fun experience, cool people, my lovely Sony!

Friend’s Yamaha mt-125 in all black. Looks good, but better than a duke?

A friend’s Yamaha MT-125 in all black—stealthy, aggressive, and undeniably stylish. But does it look better than my Duke 125 in its signature orange? That’s up for debate. What isn’t up for debate, though, is how much fun this ride turned out to be.

We set off on a road trip, each on our own machines, carving through winding roads, open stretches, and scenic backdrops. The contrast between our bikes made for an interesting visual dynamic—the bold, eye-catching orange of my Duke against the sleek, dark presence of the MT-125. Both bikes brought their own personality to the ride, each with its own character and riding feel.

As the day unfolded, we found ourselves at a unique location—one that seemed perfect for capturing the essence of our adventure. With the sun casting the last of its golden light, we took the opportunity to shoot a few photos, documenting not just the bikes, but the experience itself. The shots turned out even better than expected, effortlessly reflecting the vibe of our trip—freedom, excitement, and the simple joy of riding.

Looking back, this was yet another adventure I might not have gone on if it weren’t for my camera. Photography has a way of pushing me to explore, to seek out new locations, and to capture moments that might have otherwise just passed by. This road trip was about more than just the bikes—it was about the stories they helped us create, the roads they took us down, and the memories made along the way.
