I had the chance to photograph a Mercedes A35 during a stunning transition from sunset to nighttime, capturing the car in a variety of lighting conditions that truly highlighted its sleek design and aggressive stance. The golden hues of the setting sun provided a warm and dramatic backdrop, while the deeper blues and city lights of the night added a whole new dimension to the shoot.

Beyond just photographing the car, I was lucky enough to be taken for a ride by the owner, and I must say—I was genuinely impressed by its performance. The A35 may not be the biggest AMG model, but it delivers an exhilarating experience with sharp handling, quick acceleration, and an engaging driving feel. Experiencing its capabilities firsthand gave me an even greater appreciation for the car, which I aimed to reflect in my shots.

Looking back, if I were to redo this photoshoot, I would plan out my timings and locations more carefully. With better scheduling, I could have captured even more diverse shots of the car in different environments, making for an even stronger final collection. However, given the tight time window I had to make this shoot happen, I am pleased with the results. The images showcase not only the car’s performance and design but also the atmospheric shift from the golden glow of sunset to the cool tones of the night.

This shoot was a great learning experience, reinforcing the importance of preparation while also proving that even with limited time, incredible shots can still be achieved.
